ngCaveat — handwriting, on-chain (Caveat, OFL-1.1)

This isn't a picture of a font — it's the Caveat typeface itself, a warm, bouncy handwriting script, minted as a BMF atom: a reusable building block in the Block Media Format library, living permanently on Bitcoin.

BMF media is referenced, not embedded — mint a piece once, compose it into anything, forever. The idea is simple, and a little radical. Today every card and storybook hauls its own copy of a font, the same tens of kilobytes over and over. Instead: mint the font once — right here — and let everything else just point to it by txid.

Cards stay feather-light, the type lives once, and because it's on-chain it can never be taken down, gated, paywalled, or rented.

nft.gift — personalised, self-animating greeting cards you genuinely own.
popstoria.com — living pop-up storybooks that read themselves to you.
grafverse.com — a 3D graffiti multiverse.

Caveat, by Pablo Impallari, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 — free to use, his name written into the ledger permanently. Attribution that can never be stripped, because it's welded to the chain. (A Latin glyph subset — the letters, numbers and marks you reach for most.)

And the cover? A live, self-animating specimen rendered from this very font. Owned, not claimed.
