Phar Lap 2 - Source Code & Provenance (2026-09-12)

Phar Lap 2 is a browser wallet on its own engine. Keys (BIP-32/39), Bitcoin Script, BIP-143 signing, coin selection, fees and the network layer are written for this project and graded against openssl, the BIPs' published vectors and real mainnet transactions. Its two runtime dependencies are credited by name: @noble/hashes (MIT) for hashing and jsQR (Apache 2.0) for camera QR scanning.
It runs on BSV today, where the coins are, and it carries none of the Open BSV Licence's restriction to one chain. Nothing in it is tied to one blockchain. It is blockchain agnostic: the same engine signs for jetmora, and it can be extended to any chain that has a spendable output and a script a covenant can run on. If one chain turns bad, jetmora and Phar Lap 2 can rocket to another at any time.
Edition covenants are minted, replicated, transferred and burned on mainnet with this code, each verified against the covenant's own rules.
